Sydney graduated with High Honors from the University of Montana’s law school in 2019. During school, she served as Articles Editor on the Montana Law Review and worked as the teaching assistant for Evidence classes. Sydney was a clinical student in United States Magistrate Judge Jeremiah Lynch’s chambers and served as an intern for Montana District Court Judge Amy Eddy on the Montana Asbestos Claims Court.
After law school, Sydney clerked for two years for then-Chief United States District Court Judge for the District of Montana Dana L. Christensen.
Since joining the Beck, Amsden & Stalpes team, Sydney has worked on a wide variety of cases, including products liability, insurance coverage disputes, dram shop liability, partnership disputes, and personal injury claims. Sydney has argued motions in state and federal court, and she has written briefs filed in state and federal trial courts, as well as the Montana Supreme Court and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Sydney grew up on a small ranch south of Great Falls. She graduated from CMR High School before attending Willamette University, where she majored in International Studies and Spanish and graduated cum laude.
